It marks the day love finally surrendered to his own temptation to own a DSLR. He couldnt resist it any further and there he goes. He got himself Sony Alpha 300. 

It was the catchy promotion advert by canon at Sim Lim Square one fine day that made him, damn i need to get that. It was Canon EOS 1000d selling at $1099. And there was this purchase with purchase offer which makes it more attractive selling at $59 lens, ori price $499.

He contemplates each and everyday to buy or not. So yes FINALLY, he decided to get it. I went to research for him on dslr cameras. And lucky me, i get to chance upon my frens blog. He saw that freaking set at $850? freaking cheap right. And so we are cheated. That invitation to treat of canon was really oh my gees! In the end that fren of mine bought eos 450d at $1100. Okae that model is way better than eos 1000d. So love also decided to get that. Better in terms of everything. 

Off we go to peninsula plaza, the camera paradise! Tested out the EOS 450D.




The salesperson offered us the price of $1160. Here and there, he fell in love with it. And me having the itchy mouth but worth it okae, mentioned to the sales person about sony alpha 300. He brought it down and introduce the functions to love. He was pretty disturbed and dont know which one to go for. This one cost $1099. Sony alpha have way better functions than canon. So it was abit hard to dont care about the brand as many ppl would go for canon or nikon when comes to dslr. But love felt functions matter the most to him. Picture quality is all e same. In fact sony pictures are more clearer. 

So he decide on SONY ALPHA 300. :D It has better functions, have flip mirror, auto sensor eye focal and yes built in image stabilizer.


this mirror is auto. it will move the lens automatically when the eye meets the area.

If he were to go for EOS 450d, he would always have to think twice to upgrade lens either having stabilizer or not. When the beauty of Sony which has built in image stabilizer, he coudnt resist it any futher. 

He walked home with tripod, carrying case, 8gb memory card, lens protecter for free and oh yes the sony alpha 300.  A value for money toy for love! :D
